Me and a friend are throwing a New Year’s Charity Bash for the Autism Society of Michigan and need some idea’s of how to give out prizes and gift certificates besides a raffle. The New Year’s Eve party is going to be opened to 18 and up. Any ideas would are greatly apprecitated! Thanks!

We’re having a halloween party and are going to give prizes for best costume, scariest costume, funniest costume, and least amount of effort costume. Something inexpensive yet something guests would like to receive. My ideas so far are a bottle of liquor and gift certificates to stores, restaurants, or gas stations.

I did Lottery instant tickets. They are a buck a piece, with the chance of being more. My guests loved it. Some states have Halloween themed ones.

Like when you play a game and someone wins, what are some good ideas for prizes. They are all girls 10-12 years old. Also what is a good prize for winning a halloween costume contest.

and what are some good Activities for a Halloween/Birthday party. I need time killers.

For your small prizes for the games here is a list: jelly bracelets, little bottles of lotion/ perfume, simple little girlie stuff, head bans, hair ties, lip glosses. I would totally go to like a dollar store you could find loads of things there. For a winning halloween costume I would try a gift card to like walmart for say $10-$20. Since you want it to be something major. You could also do goodie bags, with just a small mixture of different little things. Especially if you can get things in bulk or stuff with a mixture in it. Just make sure you mix it up so they don’t all get the exact same thing. Different games that’s easy but difficult at the same time, maybe do a best dancer have them all dance through a song and have two judges go around picking off the dancers that aren’t the best. Halloween Trivia- just think of different questions about halloween (make sure they aren’t too difficult) then ask and each question they get right they get a point every one this miss lose a point, I think you can figure out the rest. Bingo is always an interesting fun game. Karaoke is always interesting too. Especially in younger girls.

Just remember you probably won’t have to keep them entertained the whole day/ evening. Play a few games randomly and just play music let them snack and dance and just hang out with each other. Good luck and hope this helps.
