Has a Cy Young winner ever went on to lose 20 games in a season?

I can’t see how Zito will not lose 20 this year with how bad he’s pitching, I’m trying to think if there’s ever been a Cy Young winner who later on went on to lose 20 games in a season. I will go look it up eventually in baseball-reference, but I wonder, does anyone know this? I don’t think it’s ever happened before.
Denny McLain won the 1968 AL CYA (31-6) and co-won the 1969 AL CYA (24-9), then went 10-22 in 1971.
Steve Carlton won the 1972 NL CYA (27-10), then went 13-20 in 1973, and later won the 1977 (23-10), 1980 (24-9), and 1982 (23-11) NL CYAs.
Randy Jones went 8-22 in 1974, then won the 1976 NL CYA (22-14). Not quite the order you’re looking for.

Steve Carlton actually lost 20 games the year after winning his first Cy Young award, in 1972.
Denny McLain won back-to-back Cy Youngs, then lost 20 games two years later.

I don’t think so but yea Zitos prolly gonna be the first this year unless he gets alot of no decisons or turns himself around fast which i doubt.

Steve carlton went from twenty wins to twenty losses.
Ditto Stan Bahnsen of the White Sox, in the two years following his trade from the Yankees.
Anybody remember what the Yankees got in that deal?
I don’t think that anyone’s fall from grace took them from cy young to losing twenty

Im not sure, but if not, I put money that Barry Zito will be the first this year. He has lost his fastball and belongs in single A with Dontrelle Willis .

A number of pitchers have done it.
Carlton won 27 for the Phillies in 1972 and the team won only 59 games, the next year (1973) he was 13-20, and if he had won 27 in 1973, the Phillies would have won the division.
