Do you get paid every year or just get to have the trophy?
Has anyone ever noticed that the Heisman winner hasnt won the National Title the year they won the Heisman, is that a jinx or they, "Heisman Fraternity", tell them to lose the game?
Nothing really, you just get cheaper meals at Burger King and free refills.

Now for the real Orangeblood answer. The winner gets the privalege of forever being called a Heisman winner. That’s enough.
Ingram can have his Heisman. Colt gets the crystal football.
And coonass can get a life.

You can decide what it means to you but I don’t think I’d consider it a badge of honor??

Absolutely nothing. You just go down in history as the "greatest" player of the year.

You are forever immortalized in your college, example Oregon State still brags to us Duck fans about how they have a Heisman winner in Terry Baker in 1962. Other than that I believe its a huge honor, and you have your name engraved in college football history.
